Refunds & Returns Policy

At Oekotechnik Solutions LLC (“Ökotech”), we take pride in delivering high-quality, made-to-order products and services. Due to the custom and often personalized nature of our fabrication and design work, our policy prioritizes fairness, clarity, and protection for both parties.


1. Made-to-Order & Custom Product Policy

Most Ökotech offerings are custom fabricated, made-to-order, or uniquely tailored to client specifications. As such:

  • All sales are final on custom orders, personalized products, or any items involving client-supplied designs or approvals.
  • Refunds or exchanges will only be granted in cases of proven material defect or production error, and must be reported within 7 days of delivery.

2. Eligibility for Refunds or Rework

A product may be eligible for rework, replacement, or partial refund under the following conditions:

  • Item arrived damaged due to transit or packaging failure
  • Product specifications deviate from approved proof or client-provided files
  • Functional or structural failure within 30 days of delivery, not due to misuse

If you believe your order qualifies, contact us at solutions@oekotech.org within 7 days of receipt, including clear photographs and a description of the issue.


3. Non-Eligible Situations

We do not offer refunds, returns, or rework under the following circumstances:

  • Buyer’s remorse or change of mind
  • Minor cosmetic variations inherent in handmade or natural materials
  • Color discrepancies due to screen calibration vs. physical output
  • Issues arising from incorrect or incomplete client-supplied specifications
  • Unauthorized alterations or misuse of the product

4. Shipping Damage Claims

In cases of shipping damage:

  1. Notify us within 48 hours of delivery
  2. Provide photos of the package (inside and out) and the damaged item
  3. Retain the packaging for inspection by the carrier, if requested

We’ll assist in filing a claim and, where applicable, offer a replacement.


5. Cancellation Policy

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement if production has not begun. After this period, cancellations are not guaranteed and may incur a fee if material preparation or work has already started.


6. Returns (Non-Custom Items Only)

If we offer any non-custom items (e.g., tools, unmodified blanks, branded merchandise), they may be returned in new, unused condition within 14 days of delivery. Buyer is responsible for return shipping. A restocking fee of 15% may apply.


7. Processing Refunds or Replacements

Once a return, refund, or rework is approved:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days
  • Replacements or reworks are placed in the production queue and follow standard lead times
  • In some cases, we may offer store credit instead of a cash refund
